Master Plan
Master Planned Community
Porta Norte is like an "European village" in Panamá, integrated with nature and 8 times the size of Casco Viejo. We call it a town because it will have all the amenities necessary for a complete life such as housing, shops, sports centres, health centres, educational centres and more.
Our Master Plan was designed by the iconic architect Andrés Duany and his firm Duany Plater-Zyberkleaders in new urbanism.
Connect with Nature
In Panamá, to get a close connection with nature, you have to get out of the city. At Porta Norte you are surrounded by nature every day.
The Master Plan features trees on all sidewalks to create a continuous shade, as well as pedestrian streets that lead to the nature trails, adjacent to the María Prieta River and Mariposa Creek.
Enjoy a Neighborhood Life
At Porta Norte we understand that pedestrian plazas and parks are spaces that facilitate culture and the creation of friendships. That's why you'll always have public spaces within 5 minutes walking distance to share with the community.
Mobility for all
Children, the elderly and people with disabilities have access to wide sidewalks, cycle paths and bus stops to gain mobility independence.
Neo-colonial architecture
We are building a little town that people love, so we pay homage to Casco Viejo, the architectural pride of Panama.
By using traditional architecture, we are rescuing the concept of balconies, internal courtyards and maintaining medium heights, but also using modern infrastructure and designing parking spaces.
